Todd Dagres
General Partner
Todd Dagres is a Founder and General Partner of Spark Capital. He has led Spark’s investments in 1stdibs, Benu Networks, Covestor, FitOrbit, Frontier Strategy Group, Group Commerce, Intune Networks, Jana, Kateeva, Menara, Signpost and Verivue (acquired by Akamai).
Todd was previously a General Partner at Battery Ventures. During his tenure there, he led investments in Akamai Technologies (NASDAQ: AKAM), Arbor Networks (acquired by Tektronix now Donaher), Broadbus (acquired by Motorola), Redstone (acquired by Siemans), River Delta Networks (acquired by Motorola), Qtera (acquired by Nortel Networks) and XCOM (acquired by Level 3 Communications).
Prior to Battery Ventures, Todd was Senior Technology Analyst at Montgomery Securities, Senior Technology Analyst at Smith Barney/Robinson Humphrey, Vice President of Communications at the Yankee Group and Business Development Manager at Digital Equipment Corporation.
Todd has produced several feature films including Pretty Persuasion and Transsiberian both of which were featured at the Sundance Film Festival. He also founded the Face of an Angel Foundation for Children with Vascular Lesions.
Todd holds B.S. in psychology from Trinity College and an MBA from Boston University.
