Robert Go
Senior Associate
Robert Go is a Senior Associate at Spark Capital.
Prior to joining Spark Capital, Mr. Go worked at Ebay, where he was the North America Business Unit owner for "Finding". In this role, he launched over 20 products that significantly enhanced Ebay's search, browse, and merchandising capabilities. He was also involved in the early R&D work leading to Ebay Express.
Previously, Mr. Go spent two years with The Parthenon Group, a boutique strategy consulting firm. He was a member of the firm's Private Equity practice, where he focused on the consumer and retail industries.
Mr. Go has also held roles at Fidelity Investments and BzzAgent, an early-stage word-of-mouth marketing company. He also helped to found Letslink.jp, one of the first social networks focused on the Japanese market.
Mr. Go earned his MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BS in Economics, magna cum laude, from Duke University.
Mr. Go is originally from the Philippines and spent most of his childhood in Hong Kong. He is an avid golfer and was a 3-time Hong Kong junior champion.
