Paul Conway

Paul Conway is a founder and the Chief Financial Officer of Spark Capital. Mr. Conway has the overall responsibility for firm operations including finance, limited partner relations and human resources.
Mr. Conway spent over twelve years, from 1988 to 2000, with Charles River Ventures, as its Chief Financial Officer. At Charles River, Mr. Conway managed the day-to-day operations of the firm, overseeing financial reporting and investor relations for the firms 50 institutional investors and 300 individual investors. During his tenure, Charles River raised 5 venture funds capitalized at over $900 million and had multiple stock and cash distributions totaling over $2.5 billion.
Prior to Charles River, Mr. Conway was at American Finance Group, an equipment leasing syndicator where he was responsible for all investor financial reporting. Prior to America Finance, Mr. Conway was a manager at Touche Ross and Co.
Mr. Conway holds a BBA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is also a certified public accountant.
