Programming from Next New Networks, the leading next-generation media company providing original Web series to millions of loyal and engaged viewers, received six individual Webby Award nominations making Next New Networks among the most recognized media companies in the 14th Annual Webby Awards, the Internet’s top honor.
Leading the way with two nominations, “Auto-Tune The News,” created and produced by The Gregory Brothers and part of the Barely Political network, is recognized in both the Viral category and the Video Remixes/Mashups category. The series “$99 Music Videos,” created by Jack Ferry, received its first nomination in the Music category. Next New Networks also scored two nods in the How-To and DIY category for Indy Mogul’s “Backyard FX,” produced and hosted by Erik Beck, and “ThreadBanger,” produced by Corinne Leigh and Rob Czar who both received their second consecutive nominations.
